JUST COPING

In August 1998, autonomous operational cell (artists Richard Squires and Emily Richardson) produced a hybrid, queer-focused, one-off event at 333 Club in East London. The evening featured moving images by Luther Price, Emma Wilson, Richard Squires, Emily Richardson and others; fanzines by Let Me Feel Your Finger First and others; DJs Tom Stephan, Jonny Slut, James BL Hollands and Tim Dimolene; music by Fil OK and drag cabaret from Kiki & Herb (aka Justin Vivian Bond and Kenny Mellman). The Just Coping archive is held at the Bishopsgate Institute, London.
